Effect of difference in property characteristics of branches in a refrigerating thermoelectric module on its efficiency
Annotation
In a thermoelectric module there is always a difference in properties of its branches. The paper considers the effect of difference in geometric and thermoelectric branch properties on the efficiency of module operation. There has been analyzed a case where, to produce a necessary value of module resistance, branches from the final “package” set of thermoelectric materials are mixed. The results obtained allow to numerically appreciate the effect of difference in branch properties on thermoelectric module operation and can be used for uprating of thermoelectric modules.
