Deformations and tension in plates of the tape valve

This article describes the strains and stresses in the tape valve plates. This problem is solved by means of calculation based on the software package ANSYS. It is a multipurpose package to solve complex problems in physics and mechanics. The object of study - tape valve for reciprocating compressors operating at a discharge pressure up to 10 MPa, and engine speeds of up to 50 s-1. According to research conclusions are formulated: closed significantly flex the plate, which leads to a violation of the density of the valve, which in turn adversely affects the efficiency of the compressor. It is planned to carry out the calculations for all sizes of plates tape valves for different values of the pressure drop. Calculations will be scheduled not only for the tape valve and for all valves used today. It is also planned to carry out the calculations for cyclic load.
