Innovative activity of ITMO University and its influence on import substitution and development of economy of Russia

Annotation

Import substitution and increase of efficiency of separate branches of the Russian economy during crisis are of particular importance. High-quality improvement of all basic areas of economy of the Russian Federation is impossible without development of innovative spheres of science and technologies. New world realities and the international calls which the Russian Federation is compelled to face, involve vital need of active and universal introduction of the most modern technologies in various areas of economic activity of the state and society. Universal and widespread introduction in an education system of innovative technologies of training, in turn, will give the chance to the Russian higher education institutions to let out the highly qualified specialists armed with serious and complex system of professional knowledge, skills. For today time key positions in the sphere of use of the latest innovative methods of training are taken by national research universities of Russia. The important place among them belongs to Sankt – the Petersburg national research university of information technologies, mechanics and optics which activity actively promotes development of science and technologies for the good of economy of our country. ITMO university one of the first higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation began to use the newest methods of training and education of students that allowed it to become one of key subjects of education who help formation .
