Energy efficiency analysis of incorporating heat pumps and solar collectors in the composition of the absorption refrigerating machines in a centralized air-conditioning systems
Annotation
The article deals with a circuit design to ensure heat supply for the absorption generator of a chiller in a centralized air-conditioning system with the use of a heat pump and solar collectors. The heat pump is used not only to ensure the operation of the generator, but also to release a part of the heat load into the environment. The proposal of the authors for the inclusion of heat pumps in the chiller was made for the first time. The analysis of the energy efficiency of such a combined system identified a number of technological and ecological advantages in comparison with indicators of the conventional systems of compression air-conditioning. Various modes of operation of the designed installation depending on the necessary cooling capacity of conditioning complex are presented and it was concluded that the use of heat pumps as a base for the heat generator of the chiller resulted in significant increase of the refrigeration coefficient for the entire complex and also reduced the load on the cooling tower and, therefore, reduced the cost of basic equipment. The maximum energy efficiency of the complex was shown to be achieved at maximum air-conditioning load.
