Heat and mass transfer in ellipsoidal bodies
Annotation
Heat and mass transfer in food processed objects (grains, seeds, fruit or berries, etc.) is very common. These objects are known to be of ellipsoidal shape. The study assesses the effect of object shapes on transfer processes. In particles of equal volume potential transfer rate was found to be the slower, the more spherical its shape was.
