The investigation is devoted to the utilization problems of sugar production wastes. For its decision four disposal scenarios of sugar beet pulp was modeled. These scenarios are as follows: placing at a landfill, dumping at a landfill of municipal solid waste equipped with biogas extraction system, accelerated anaerobic digestion and the production of the secondary valuable product namely pectin. The simulation modeling in view of the environmental impact and the analysis of natural resources consumption was carried out. The results of this modeling has shown that anaerobic digestion has the greatest adverse effect in the pessimistic scenario, and the largest consumption of natural resources corresponds to the last scenario, but it is considered to be the most preferable because of economic benefits received from the sale of pectin.
