Analysis of a thermal condition of the piston compressor stage

Annotation

Modeling of temperature fields, amounts of heat transferred from gas to surrounding walls of piston compressors and distributions of heat transfer coefficients of the heat exchange internal surface still remains to one of the main scientific directions when studying of the proceeding there working processes. In this work authors try to answer important practical question – whether water cooling of steps of the pressurizing compressors with the small size cylinders and the high initial density of gas is expedient. The settlement model provided modeling of processes in the cylinder and adjacent cavities, and also in the omental sealing knot of the cavities. The received results allowed to visually estimate distribution of thermal fields on the case of the compressor engine, to judge influence of residual vortex streams on formation of speed levels and heat exchange intensity of gas with walls working cavities, values of heat transfer coefficients in local points, heterogeneity of a temperature field in working cameras not only in time, but also on the volume of gas cavities.
