Heat exchange calculation for the process of air movement in surface air coolers
Annotation
The proposed calculation procedure for air coolers takes into account all possible types of cooling (dry cooling, or possible condensate fallout on the entire surface of a heat exchanger or part of it), envisages different phases of calculation, and provides transition from one phase to another depending on the given cooling mode. The procedure is based on the results of experimental research on tube and fin air coolers. Calculation results are compared with the experimental data.
