Influence of cryotherapy on various thicknesses of skin with the use of numerical simulation
Annotation
The method of measuring the temperature of human integumentary tissues during the general cryotherapy treatment (WBC) is considered. Physical processes have been investigated in the device for cryotherapeutic treatment of the human body (cryochamber). The computer model of the research object is constructed using the finite element method, in a trial version of the Comsol Multiphysic software product. The mathematical model makes it possible to calculate the temperature of the coverslips during and after the WBC procedure. The dependence of heat flux losses on the thickness of the integumentary tissues was studied. The Bioheat Transfer module was used, which allowed taking into account the thermal effect. Recommendations are formulated on the choice of cryochamber regimes. The research is aimed at increasing the effectiveness and safety of the WBC through the individual characteristics of patients.
