Managing entrepreneurial projects in a post-innovation economy

Annotation

This article examines the problem of managing entrepreneurial projects in a post-innovation economy, characterized by a shift in emphasis from innovation as an independent performance criterion to a comprehensive assessment that includes value, social, and institutional parameters. The subject of the study is management mechanisms for ensuring the consistency of the technological, innovative, and humanistic contours of a company's development. The aim of the study is to empirically test an integrative approach to managing entrepreneurial projects based on the HDI (Humanism-Digitalization-Innovations) model. The object of the study are entrepreneurial projects, viewed as developing socio-economic systems in the context of digital transformation. The methodological basis of the study is a mixed-methods design, including a questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and expert content analysis. Based on the theoretical operationalization of the HDI model, a system of indicators has been developed that allows for a quantitative assessment of the level of development of the humanistic, digital, and innovative blocks, as well as for calculating an integral index. Empirical testing of the model was conducted on a sample of 40 Russian companies. The study revealed an imbalance between the model's blocks: with comparable levels of digital and innovative development, the humanistic block demonstrates lower values. It was established that digitalization is a necessary but insufficient condition for innovative development, while humanistic factors, including human-centeredness and the principle of projective responsibility, act as a significant internal condition for the formation of sustainable innovation. A lack of synchronicity between the technological and value development of entrepreneurial projects was discovered. The obtained results allow us to substantiate the need for a transition from instrumental digital transformation to integrative management, ensuring the consistency of technological, innovative, and humanistic factors. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the HDI model as a diagnostic and management tool in developing strategies for the development of entrepreneurial projects in a post-innovation economy.
