INFORMATION THREATS REPRESENTATION ON THE BASIS OF OPEN ENVIRONMENT MODEL
Annotation
The article deals with the reference model of the open environment which treats an information system as a combination of two components: application-oriented and platform which functionality is definitely structured. Three-dimensionality of the model gives the possibility to display in the same terms functionality of such aspects as information system safety. Basic opportunity to structure information threats (attacks) on model components that opens possibilities of formalization of attack development in the environment of an information system, simulation of counteraction of protective mechanisms and threats is shown. Algorithms solutions of the tasks connected to attacks identification are proposed there by means of parameter vectors creation that influence on the safety and generation chains of attacks in an information system. Results received in part 3 of the article can be used for solution of a wide range of tasks, in particular, for an assessment of possibility of attack implementation and efficiency of protective mechanisms.
