The article is devoted to the analysis of new conceptual approach estimating effectiveness of investment operations commercial banks with securities. The necessity connected with new definition of category «effectiveness». Author of article propose to do it on the base of new definition. The result of using this definition –raise stability, as bank as all banking system of Russia .
