On the application of supersonic vane diffuser
Annotation
Reduced size and mass of refrigerating machine is one of the major challenges facing engineers today. Using a supersonic diffuser in a centrifugal compressor can significantly reduce the number of compression stages (down to half as less again), which in turn leads to the reduction of compressor weight and metal consumption of by 25–35%.
