Corporate Risk Management in Business Activities
Annotation
The paper investigates theproblem of corporate risk management in business. In the analysis of the ownership structure of Russian corporations there is a high level of concentration, especially in companies with state participation. The article examines the nature of corporate conflicts between shareholders and managers, the structure of agency costs, explains the need to protect the interests of minority shareholders. The article deals withpapers of Western economists, devoted relationship between shareholders and management, analysis of the causes of agency conflicts, the study of the impact of the capital structure of the corporation on its performance. The paper notesthe poor quality of corporate governance in Russia, identifies the main groups of corporate risk management, the principles of risk management, it is proposed to use the industrial risks map as a tool of corporate risk management. To provideincreasing economic growth and improving the process of corporate risk management is proposed to make some changes in Russian corporate legislation.
