“Cloud” service identifying properties of working substances for refrigeration units
Annotation
The article describes a new technology used in the work with functions determining thermophysical properties of working media, coolants and materials. It is not based on software downloads, but on using references to the functions stored on websites, i.e. “in the clouds.” The technology is implemented by means of the engineering calculator Mathcad. As an example of applying such web functions, the calculation of a refrigeration unit’s cycle is presented (R407C is the working medium).
