Concerning proper formulation of the problem of fluid flow in a pipe
Annotation
Various aspects of the mathematical formulation of the general problem of fluid flow in a pipe have been analysed. Classical initial/terminal conditions and possible alternatives are briefly discussed, and variants of modelling turbulent flows are studied. In order to obtain a direct numerical solution to the system of differential equations by finite-difference methods it is offered to implement the idea of dynamic change in the strategy of computing process at every step and at each iteration.
