Analysis if parametrical fiber-optic amplifier functioning conditions under spontaneous emission noise

The calculation and analysis of fiber-optic amplifier (FOA) operation based on three-tier model under spontaneous emission noise, as given in the present article, makes it possible to evaluate spontaneous emission noise influence on amplifier characteristics - pumping level, output optical signal, gain factor. The calculation allows evaluation of FOA optimal parameters.
