Overview and analysis of used and perspective formats of geospatial data
Annotation
Detailed overview of geospatial data formats used in main software products of leading domestic and foreign developers, namely SXF, MIF/MID, SHP/DBF, GML (XML) formats is provided in the article. Analysis of capabilities provided by each format is performed, based on which the main proposals on development of new uniform format of geospatial data are formulated.
