List of members of the International Academy of Refrigeration (as of 21.04.2020)
Annotation
The 27th General annual meeting of the International Academy of Refrigeration (IAR) was to be held on April 21, 2020. However, by the decision of the iach Presidium, it was canceled, due to the self-isolation regime introduced in the Russian Federation due to the COVID-19pandemic. This year, 66 people submitted documents to participate in the competitive admission to the Academy. The competition Commission considered all applications and decided to allow all participants to participate in the elections. The iach Presidium decided to hold competitive elections this year by online voting in the iach's Russian regional offices and representative offices in other countries. According to the results of the online voting on admission of new members held on April 21, all applicants were elected to the Academy. 45 new members joined the Academy's ranks, and 21 members of the IAC have increased their status. Among those elected are 30 academicians, 25 corresponding members and 11 academic advisors. The results of the voting were confirmed by the decision of the counting Commission, as well as by the decision of THE IAC Presidium.
