The paper deals with analysis of speech recordings before and after speakers’ drug-abuse treatment. It is shown that there are no statistically significant dependences in distortions of speaker’s voice features on different groups of drugs and on the drug intoxication degree. The fundamental frequency changes are not regular and do not have general nature. The main reason for the fundamental frequency change is the speaker’s emotional state change, rather than drug addiction treatment. Studying the duration effect of narcotic drugs use on the speakers’ voice showed that for speakers with prolonged use of the heroin group drugs a tendency to decrease the fundamental frequency by about 3% per year was found.
