THE THEOREM OF SAMPLES FOR COMPLEX AND REAL SIGNALS
Annotation
The problem of optimal choice of discretization period for continuous complex and real signals with a limited spectrum is studied. It is shown that for single-valued reconstruction of a continuous complex signal from its samples it is necessary for the sampling rate to be no less than twice the highest frequency in the signal spectrum. At the same time, for a real signal, the sampling rate must be greater than twice the highest frequency in the signal spectrum.
