Environmental Criteria within the Supply Chain: the International Experience
Annotation
The paper discusses the use of new environmental criteria "carbon footprint" to inform consumers and to ensure traceability within the supply chain. It is shown that the expansion of carbon labeling in international practice, especially in the European Union, is a response to international initiatives to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
