Calculating vibration reliability of bimetallic finned tube banks in air coolers
Annotation
Calculating methods are offered for measuring the vibration reliability of staggered finned tube banks in air cooling devices (ACD). The procedure is based on the uniform linear size of a bimetallic finned tube (BFT), i.e. the effective diameter. The calculations for a BFT with the finning coefficient j = 9.4; 15.2 and 20.4 attest to the absence of the risk of tube bank rupture from vibration loads under aerodynamic and thermal operation conditions in standardized ACD refrigerators utilized in food processing and chemical industries.
