Multimedia traffic model using multidimensional probability distribution density of observations
Annotation
The statistical characteristics analysis of sources used in videoconferencing system is given. Dependence between information source types in a video conference session and traffic characteristics is revealed. A model of finite density distributions mixture is suggested to describe complicated form of frequency diagram. For the description of interrelation between source types and observed traffic statistical characteristics of video conference the hidden Markov model (HMM) apparatus is used. The HMM apparatus is expanded; HMM with several observations is introduced.
