Industrial ecosystem: concept and conceptual model of activity

Annotation

The article proposes the author's interpretation of the concept of an industrial ecosystem (IE), which is defined as a territorially integrated, autonomously regulated, and adaptively sustainable complex set of industrial economic entities (with possible participation of R&D organizations, infrastructure, service, and other companies) that implement integration and resource sharing, generating emergent properties and integration network effects aimed at achieving the goals of forming and developing this ecosystem. The author's vision of the possible goals of an IE is proposed. A conceptual model of the PES activity has been developed, which is a complex structure that includes interconnected elements that ensure the effective functioning and development of the PES. The model is based on three key components: inputs, the industrial support component (supporting nodes of the system), and outputs. The list of principles for the formation and development of the PES has been expanded to include new elements: anthropology, quantum-fractal hierarchy, biomorphism, metacritique, spatial breathing, and catastrophe resistance (technogenic and digital).
