Results of experimental work on laser cleaning of historical copper monuments are presented. Surface cleaning was carried out by means of pulsed Nd:YAG laser (wave length of 1064 nm, pulse duration of 30-110 μs, energy density10-25 J/cm²). Efficiency of laser treatment was controlled using X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. Performed investigations demonstrated a high efficiency of laser cleaning and possibility of laser use with specified parameters in restoration of copper monuments.
