Role of natural resources in the sustainable development of the region
Annotation
In recent decades, one of the priority objectives of regional development is the preservation of natural resources. To achieve this goal requires the establishment of effective mechanisms and instruments of regional policy. It is obvious that the assessment of the level of economic development of the region should be considering future opportunities use of natural resources. Quantitative and qualitative characteristics of natural resources determine the economic specialization of regions, the prospects for the development of infrastructure and capacity of local markets. Regions it is advisable to create this type of development, providing economic, environmental, safety and reproducibility of limited resources, which does not contradict the principles of sustainable development. Therefore, the research of natural-resource potential of the region, the orientation of its steady-balanced path of development is a prerequisite for the establishment of an efficient management system in the national economy.
